These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Breathing Room Organizing website (the “Site”) and any consultations, organizing services, communications, estimates, invoices, and related interactions provided by Breathing Room Organizing (“Breathing Room,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By using the Site, booking a consultation, requesting services, or otherwise working with us, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or our services.
Effective Date: February 2, 2026
Breathing Room provides home and workspace organizing services, which may include decluttering support, organizing sessions, system setup, product recommendations, and virtual consultations.
Service area: We currently serve the Dallas–Fort Worth (DFW) area only.
We offer online consultations and scheduling through Calendly. When you schedule with us, you agree to provide accurate information and follow scheduling instructions.
Third-party scheduling tools may have outages or errors. If that happens, we’ll make reasonable efforts to coordinate a new time.
Deposit required: A 50% down payment is required to book services (including reserving your date/time). Your deposit will be applied toward your total invoice unless otherwise stated in writing.
How to pay: We will send you a payment link via QuickBooks. Payment methods may include:
– Credit/debit card
– Bank transfer (ACH)
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, remaining balances are due according to the invoice terms we provide (commonly at the end of the session or as invoiced).
Nonpayment: Late or unpaid balances may result in paused services, withheld deliverables (if applicable), or cancellation of future appointments until the account is current.
We respect your time and ask the same in return.
– If you cancel or reschedule with at least 24 hours’ notice: your deposit can be applied to a rescheduled appointment date.
– If you cancel or reschedule with less than 24 hours’ notice: your deposit may be forfeited to cover reserved time.
– No-shows: may be charged up to the full scheduled time and may forfeit the deposit.
We may make reasonable exceptions for emergencies at our discretion.
Any estimate or quote is based on the information available at the time and the expected scope of work.
If the scope changes (additional rooms, increased volume, add-on tasks, unusual conditions, etc.), you agree we may adjust time and/or pricing accordingly. We’ll communicate changes as soon as reasonably possible.
We may perform sessions while you are not present, if agreed in advance.
By approving an unattended session, you agree to:
– Provide safe, reliable access (key, code, lockbox, concierge instructions, etc.)
– Disclose any security systems, restricted areas, or special handling instructions
– Authorize us to make reasonable organizing decisions consistent with your stated goals and preferences.
We recommend securing valuables, sensitive documents, and personal items prior to unattended sessions.
To support a smooth session, you agree to:
– Provide reasonable access to work areas
– Communicate preferences and constraints (fragile items, privacy concerns, allergies, pets, etc.)
– Make timely decisions during sessions (keep/donate/discard, placement, etc.)
– Maintain a safe work environment (see Section 10)
We may recommend organizing products (bins, labels, shelving, etc.). Unless stated otherwise:
– Product costs are separate from service fees
– You are responsible for product, delivery, and shipping costs
– Returns/warranties are governed by the retailer/manufacturer
If you ask us to purchase items on your behalf, you authorize us to do so within an agreed budget and agree to reimburse those costs.
If you request help with donations or disposal:
– Donation centers may refuse items
– Disposal requirements vary by city/area
– Hauling or specialty disposal may require additional fees
You remain responsible for decisions regarding what to keep, donate, discard, sell, or recycle.
You agree to provide a safe environment, including reasonable cleanliness and working conditions free from hazards (biohazards, mold, unsafe debris, severe pest issues, unsafe flooring, etc.).
We may pause or stop services if conditions are unsafe. Additional fees may apply if additional time is required due to unsafe or unusually difficult conditions.
We respect your privacy. We may take photos to track progress or plan systems only with your consent.
We will not publicly share identifiable before/after photos or videos without your explicit permission.
We carry business insurance. Proof of insurance may be provided upon request, where applicable.
We are not providing legal, medical, mental health, or financial advice. Our recommendations are for organizing and functionality purposes only. For specialized issues (structural changes, electrical, therapy, legal matters, etc.), consult a qualified professional.
Every home and project is unique. While we aim to deliver excellent results, specific outcomes are not guaranteed and depend on decisions made during and after sessions, volume of items, and ongoing maintenance.

– We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
